I know it is unusual for this reference to have a lollipop. Bought it about 20 years ago because of the kneel-down-matching-patina. I do have a "spare" 2998-4 that I could use the lollipop for if some super-purist would desire to give it up for another second hand on this one.

Currently there's a "Tropical" 2998-2 1960 with a Lolli Pop seconds recorder for sale. This one is not nearly as well aged as your's and the asking price is $23,500.
