Monday morning does not feel so heavy with a nice watch on the wrist :)

Starting this week with my newest acquisition...Omega seamaster Commander watch. I traded my old trusty Planet Ocean cal. 2500 for this, with an irresistible offering.
Love the white ceramic dial, which is somehow less reflective than the black or blue dial. Which is good, because it is less blingy and easier to read under any lighting. Also the good legibility is helped by the dark blue hands.
A few details that I like : brushed clasp with polished beveled edge, brushed finish on bracelet's sides, and the shape of the caseback profile which mimic (a coincidence?) with the scalloped bezel.
One thing i'm not sure : is the caliber 2507 has the same 3-level co-axial like the caliber 2500D? On the caliber 2500D, near the balance wheel, it is engraved "2500D" . In the caliber 2507, the engraving has been replaced with "Omega" . I can't find any information about this, but I assume all the caliber 2500 on the newest ceramic dial seamaster 300 prior to newer caliber 88XX, already based on caliber 2500D from the latest batch of first generation Planet Ocean.

These previous models SMP have IMO much better proportions than the current modell line.

I find this piece unique because currently its the only white dial and "pepsi" bezel seamaster 300. And the size 41 mm with perfect proportion is just feel right. The bracelet is admittedly dressier than Planet Ocean's bracelet, but its very well made, ve...
Marcus has the very same Seamaster, if memory serves correct . . .

. . . and hopefully he will visit this forum soon to comment. Even though I'm not a dive watch guy per se , I've long been drawn to them, and finally acquired one a few months ago (Seiko turtle PADI). The first three iterations of the classic SM 300 are o...
