Xmas comes early... Pam 505

Just when I was wondering what should I get myself for Christmas, dropped into HK Panerai Boutique and they presented me with the latest Composite Radiomir pair, the Pam 504 & 505. First time to see the pair side by side, 504 in 47mm with P3000 movement no date and the 505 in P9000 auto with date in 45mm case. After careful examination and recommendation from boutique manager, I decided to take home my Christmas present the Pam 505.

I never get a chance to see or purchased the 339 8 days composite so this time round, I will not gamble on the think it over process, knowing the waiting list in just 3 days is now over 3 figures long. The P9000 3 days power reserve with date is more useful to me, always prefer a watch with date, just like my Pam 498 FU II, or my manual winding Pam 424 with date.
