Panerai 5218-203/ A: A beast.

 By: amanico : September 22nd, 2015-08:14
A nice cannon powder grey black PVD case, a superb tritium dial, this pre vendome Panerai was really something. Less prestigious than the Marina Militare 202/ A, nor less " new " than the Logo 201/ A, but it had a lot of charm and appeal. No fuss, either,...

The Panerai solid, sturdy simplicity. Superb. [nt]

Not quite to the extent of the 207A, but....

 By: sergio : September 25th, 2015-15:21
the 203A has alway been the....poor relation....of the "glamour boys" 202A, 201A, 205A but I agree with you, the dial it's as spectacular as any Pre-V model.

Truth be told, I also don't understand the...craze...after the 205A.

It must have something to do, IMO, with the Slytech "scribble" and the 201A derivation. Never floated my boat, though

Yes, it must also be because of that...

The iconic Luminor Marina dial... One of my favourite dial configuration on a Panerai ... Also especially love the PVD color on this one and the very fat numerals Best, Sam
