OP if you go onto the Pamguard website as you have the BB and serial plus case no. you should be able to confirm.

Wow in that linked thread Sergio is saying the watch is FAKE? I’m shocked…the watch is held by a highly reputable dealer too. The serial number comes back to a PVD PAM00009 the production for the A-series was 1000 ...

I have a 2Pre-A and the numbering at the back, has nothing to do with the watch itself. It has a 05xx/1000 on the back. There aren't 05xx pieces of 002 Pre-A. Know what I mean? The numbering of your piece is a bit...strange...but not out of the realm of p...

Machined Fonts on my 1A case back are deep and textured…pretty cool to see under magnification. That being said, I agree that in comparison the 2A case back is highly suspect. ...  

These pics also show that the lever looks suspicious as well. It’s also polished which is inconsistent with being original. granted, I’ve seen pieces where the levers were polished as a result of (crappy) servicing. ...

Here’s a few beauties that have come and gone… ...  

both the 001 and this 002, look like the hands were...flooded. Not the whole dial, just the hands. Weird

Imo (I’m far from an expert) the hands on my 1A seem fine. Under magnification (see pic) the tritium degradation appears legit and under UV light the hands fade consistent with the dial. Given the age of the piece, who’s to say that moisture wasn’t a cont...  

This knowledge obtained from this thread saved me from some serious aggravation. 🫡
