Well...
To be honest, If the Pam 322 really speaks to you, then go for it! It is definitely a beautiful piece, and if it is only 1 of 50 manufactured then if I were you and I was really taken by this watch, Id get this before the 127. The reason? Same as what Jester has mentioned. It would be a lot harder to find a 322 than a 127 in the future!
My dilemma is between the 249 and 127. Although I love the 127 and definitely want to get it 'some day', i already have a Luminor in a 233. Also the 249 is currently more affordable by quite a margin. I wont wait too long to get the 127 though, max march or april. I don't want prices to increase too much over time
In the end 2000 watches or whatever the true figure is, its still quite a limited number.
I personally love the idea of owning and wearing a truly exclusive and limited edition watch. Imagine being 1 of 50 people in the world that would ever own it. That in itself is simply awesome
AP seems to have several 'limited editions', and although I love their watches, they come out with too many limited editions, and most essentially look the same. I do however love the rubens barichello 2, and the new grand prix. Those watches make me drool, but I cant afford it just yet, haha.
Hope my post has helped!

Gents, What are your feelings with regard to the PAM 322. I have the opportunity to acquire one at the original price (it is from a trusted source and it is brand new in box) and with the titanium case and tobacco dial, I find it appealing. In addition, w...

never seen a 322 in the metal but at 47mm and minerva movement..you can't beat that... I think like you said, it does not get much love as its just a rare bird...awesome piece..more limited.. simply elegantly stunning... look forward to photos!
My 'signature' remark.....

when it comes to choices. If you can afford them, get both... Between the two, though, 127 all the way. The 322 is a beautiful watch ( I have a 309...sigh) but I believe the dial of the Fiddy is, together with the 249 and the 232 among the purest Panerai ...

Either way, 45mm or 47mm doesn't matter. Panerai could just slap on another dial and it's another limited edition piece. My main point is to bring across the point to not buy the PAM322 because only 50 pieces were made. - AT
