Gents,
What are your feelings with regard to the PAM 322. I have the opportunity to acquire one at the original price (it is from a trusted source and it is brand new in box) and with the titanium case and tobacco dial, I find it appealing. In addition, with 47mm it is the correct size as well.
Now, it aint a cheap watch and there is some serious competition out there as well. I see in another post (from Rahul) the PAM 127, which I could get as well.
Preferences from others for the PAM322 vs PAM127 or other PAMs in this price category?
Just curious what you all think about the PAM322, it seems like a marvelous piece, but never really hear much talk about it (but that might actually also be because with 50 pieces there are not that many owners that can speak about the watch....)
Have a good weekend!
never seen a 322 in the metal but at 47mm and minerva movement..you can't beat that...
I think like you said, it does not get much love as its just a rare bird...awesome piece..more limited..
simply elegantly stunning...
look forward to photos!
Nicolas made a special post with mine:
"Review-Panerai: Highlights on the Panerai PAM322"
and followed by some more recent pics
A rare bird, I am really fan ;-)))

when it comes to choices. If you can afford them, get both...
Between the two, though, 127 all the way. The 322 is a beautiful watch ( I have a 309...sigh) but I believe the dial of the Fiddy is, together with the 249 and the 232 among the purest Panerai has ever manufactured, IMHO.
I'm sure that whichever you chose, you'll enjoy it immensely

In the end 2000 watches or whatever the true figure is, its still quite a limited number.
AP seems to have several 'limited editions', and although I love their watches, they come out with too many limited editions, and most essentially look the same. I do however love the rubens barichello 2, and the new grand prix. Those watches make me drool, but I cant afford it just yet, haha. it is a Marvelous Watch and a Rare Bird as well. . i'd definitely go for it .
as you know, they're quite a few of the 127s for Sale now a days.
Cheers
Be warned that I bet Panerai will make more of these Radiomirs w/ Minerva movements. So I wouldn't be surprised to see some steel, white gold, rose gold, and platinum variants of the PAM322. Just slap on a different colored dial, and you have a new model. Since the PAM322 is a 45mm Radiomir, you can now have new larger 47mm variants too. And we haven't even gone to the possiblity of Luminor variants.
Buy the PAM322 because you like it. If rarity is a huge factor in why you like the PAM322, do not be disheartened when you see Panerai introduce a very similar model in the future. It may be rare now, but I bet will be less rare as Panerai introduces similar models in the following years.

in love for this incredible model, as myself.
It is difficult to make a jugment on this model without seen it, wearing it and earing his nice calibre sound.
My precious, really ;-))

IMHO, love the tobacco dial, movement...
i'm new to commenting on the forum, however from the forums seems like PAM127 "Fiddy" is THE panerai to own ..especially if you want the trademark crown-guard...oh well.. i can't afford either but just commenting for fun,
