The funny thing is that I'm really considering getting one!
I strongly believe that a nice and complete collection of pannies requires to get one of each historical models...
A Luminor, which can be the Logo Pre V, the queen of all the luminors...
A Rad, which can be a Cali or a 232, or an horological version like the 190.
A Chrono, and I only see the Mare as a legitim Panerai Chrono.
And a Sub, which is , for me, the one and only one Pam 24 A/B or C...
More, the 24 has another attractio for me, it's still an underrated Panerai, or more exactly, a Panerai which has a fair value,
not like the 127 that has an exagerated value...

And I totally agree with what he said. I may add something... Between the 24 and the 25, I rather prefer the 24, because of its smooth dial...The Clous de Paris dial is very nice, but after a moment you can get rid of it. And the smooth dial is as aslways...

unlike the other posters, I prefer it over the 24 because of the Clous de Paris (or Hobnail, as they call it) dial and the graduations around the dial. These things make the watch more interesting from my point of view. To each his own! It's a great watch...
