The most important information, from what I saw and now read, is the new movement which will replace the ETA.
RIP ETA.
But I am sure that some ETA movements will slip in a drawer and that we'll have a very exclusive LE in some 30 years.
More seriously, my opinion is that it is a very quiet year for Panerai.
The Pam 510 is the new standard, in the Luminor family.if I got it well, with the Cal 5000 to come, and will logically replace the Pam 111. Ok.
It is also great to see that Panerai is diversifying the offer with this special case ( Pam 512 ).
A good offer for small wrists, as the case is very elegant, but I would have preferred to see a bigger version of this one, in let's say 45 mm, and in a base version, to better stick to the historical version ( 47 mm would be perfect, even if you will tell me that they released it last year in such a size, but i would answer that they didn't do it in a base version ).
I am pretty sure that they will do it latern though.
I am still waiting for this Small Egiziano re edition, as you got it.
No watches which made my heart beat faster, this year, at Panerai.
Time to go for a 372?
Best,
Nicolas
