So..Ferretti strikes again?
the only time I "considered" buying a vintage piece, long ago, I had a couple of conversations with Ferretti himself about a 3646 he had listed in his website, at a price I could afford even though it was rather steep already. I have to admit, I wasn't really impressed with the content of the exchanges and abandoned the idea. After that, the cost of vintages went trough the roof and I never revisited the idea of purchasing one. Lucky me???

Agree about the minefield.
My only thought was that if I ride the bus and had the chance to see THAT piece, it would be well worth the ticket. If you have ever traveled by bus in the USA, you would know seeing a great watch is the only reason you would ever dare consider this mode ...
