the 231 is NOT an LE. It's simply a model that was part of the regular production and has been..discontinued. The Limited Editions are a different story. I took the liberty of correcting the title...

Normally they discontinue models that....
just don't sell. That and models that would absorb production costs of other, more popular models etc etc
