Officine Panerai

pam is pretty well hedged

They have the platina look and modern "high tech" look offerings as well. I think this whole vintage gig is a over reaction, not REACTION, to the whole financial crisis in 2008 and how we long for a better time etc etc. Not just watches, but cars and bags too. Anyway, by the time the prodcuct chain is designed n done, it hits us in 2010, and if we prosper this year, the size of the "vintage" market will shrink significantly, but it will never go away. Just the premiums we pay. A thread was started in omega about escalating omega connies prices. We all know where vintage rolex traded up to. So 3 things I hunbly opine 1) reworked and relaunched historical product range and/or vintage look to continue for a year or two, 2) real vintage prices surge to new heights with each launch of "new vintage" as interest for them escalate due to relook at forgotten heros and speculators, 3) ecentual collapse as each new vintage cannot hold their prices and discounting happens. Fashion base collectors move on, and sell side volunes increase few folds for preown and new, and real vintages are also being dumped.

My humble opinions, exxagerated of course.
