Not entirely surprised by your response...
As a die hard fan of Panerai, I can imagine the novelties for this year would be a bit too dramatic departure from the typical hommage pieces...
Having said that, for the radiomir 1940 chronograph, I can't deny the fact the vintage looking techometer track does look decent. I can imagine the dial looking even better without the 'dot' marker. Bravo to OP for at least trying something new.
A big question that I'm asking myself is do I really want to see anything new from Panerai or am I simply expecting yet another model paying 'tribute' to one of the vintage piece?
Having said that, I do think 562 & 564 (44mm Titanium Luminor base and Luminor Marina w/ brown dial) are pretty hot.
