Unless the buckle isnt made of composite - I dont see any issue.
I will drink some scotch this weekend and i'll rub a little on the case. I would like someone to confirm or deny that the buckle is composite or not.
It is interesting though that there are caseback issues - I think its the moisture of sweat buildup which fades the coloring in the dye.

i dont think alcohol is a logical test...
maybe it's a mixture of sweat, perfume and some other manly chemicals? throw some salt into that glass.... warm skin rubbing the composite also plays a factor... composite really doesn't have a track record or detailed history so it's quite possible that ...
