when things were still on the...up and up...the Swiss were producing 001-002-004-006-007-008-009 (that would be 1998-2001,some T-dialled, some L-dialled) and the most massively produced models in Panerai' history (I think) 024-025 and the 40mm, automatic ones 048-049-050-051. The Zero was produced to please some die-hard Paneristi that wouldn't fork out the big money (back then) for the LOGO (that had reached demential quotations). The "luck" of the Zero is the big "uncle" LOGO. Even the most un-initiated of the Panerai..likers..see the DNA in it (the logo having a lot to do with it). It's a great model and it makes you feel like a true blue, grassroot Panerista, the moment you strap in on the wrist, IMO. Keep on enjoying yours
