Some like the grey color of titanium while others don't.
If you like the simplicity of the PAM176 and don't need the seconds hand in the PAM177, then I'd swap for the PAM176.
In the end, you can't go wrong with either. For titanium models though, Panerai doesn't offer as many choices when compared to stainless steel models so your choices will be limited if you wish to purchase more titanium models.
