Thanks Anthony. Long story but it appears I can't swap for the 176 as the AD doesn't have any nor getting any for a while and I don't want to wait as I like both of them.
Titanium is definately my first choice but I might get a SS model later.........
I think the 176 and 177 are both great watches so happy but would have done a straight trade with the store for a 176 if they had one but as you said, can't go wrong!
I tried on the 176 yesterday and have to say although I know the ss models are more popular (or should say more are sold), I definately prefer the titanium color but thats just me. Whenever I try on the ss models, they are just a bit too "bright" for me - still think they are beautiful though!!

Some like the grey color of titanium while others don't. If you like the simplicity of the PAM176 and don't need the seconds hand in the PAM177, then I'd swap for the PAM176. In the end, you can't go wrong with either. For titanium models though, Panerai ...
