My latest aquisition. I'm sure not many will agree with my taste but, luckily I do. I'm experimenting with straps too...hahahahaha...

I have in mind a deep red (bordering on burgundy) in calf leather and used the red one, for a couple of days, to figure out if red (of any hue) had something to do with this model.. :-)

in a couple of weeks and we'll figure something out. I'll bring a Pre-V buckle with me and have it sewn-in...

distributor, today, together with the strap maker. If what we "visualized" will come out...exactely...the way we did, I'll have a strap that will stop clocks in the streets...hahaha Ciao

for me, there are models that I have bought out of "fatal attraction", others because of "collection". I have a couple that I like ZERO but make sense together with the other ones. This one, I happen to like and it's a fabulous collection piece IMO obviou...

The first "after market" it's a bit brighter than I had in mind (the second one it's a bit more..spot on..) but the chamois's texture it's not bad :-) ...  

Or did it become the focus of the conversation rather than the beauty of the watch itself.

I still like it but, due to the weird dial, red it's not the...definitive...colour for the 604 strap. I'm ready to try another experiment. Last night, at a Panerai's Florence "bash", lots of people liked the red strap, but a lot also thought it is a bit.....
