ok, so here's the idea that hits my mind .... I'd like to put some blue hands on my 195, making it look like the Tantalium 172 of course I would keep the original hands .... what do you think ?? Any idea if this a hard shop to do for a watchmaker ??

but i can not Mentally Visualize that on a PVD Case ???! beside it won't look like the 172 at all ;0(( but the only way to find out is to Try them on and go from there. . Cheers Tony

Not feeling modifying the 195, besides devaluing the watch, I think it look great as it is. I would just get a 172 and leave the 195 alone. Best of luck Drew

a watchmaker can do this in 10 minutes but I would NOT change them, even when you keep the original hands

okay i'm not expert in fotoshopping but you get the idea huh !!! concerning the comments i don't see for myself any danger in devaluating it as I can bring it back into the original state any time i want as long as i have the original hands, my AD has an ...  

I still wouldn't do it ;-) On the other hands, if you tried gold hands ... black and gold are a good match

but I'm not sure blue hands would work well w/ an all black watch. As you rightfully said, this is easily reversible. The only risk is really the craftmanship of the watch maker. Having said that, I would be surprised that a panerai/richemont service pers...

I personally wouldn't want to swap the hands though. This should be very easy to do for any watchmaker, assuming you have the blue hands already. - AT

If it came with black hands, it should be left as it is. To me it feels weird wearing a 'franken' watch, knowing that it is not original - if you get my drift.

.. is if you are at all concerned about resale value. But then again, if you keep your original set of hands, and have them re-installed them before putting it up for sale, it may not be that big a deal. Otherwise, it's your watch, nobody else's, do with ... 

plastic surgery, once you've done it, you think everything you don't like 100% can be fixed.... I am, declaredly, a conservative square, but tinkering with...originals....it's not what I would do. Cheers - Sergio

It's easily changed and replaced back to its original anytime you like. So, as long as it's with you, why not doing it? Have fun with it.
