Difference between PAM322 & PAM399
Hi all,
I was just enhancing my knowledge in the world of PAMs and I came across the PAM322 in titanium having the same mechanical specs as the 2012 specialities launch PAM399. The difference is the metal used, sapphire crystal glass and dial color. Iam asking fellow purists did I miss anything? Will the 399 will be a collectible reference for a panerai collector? Any thoughts?

the two models have is the Vintage Minerva movement. The rest is quite different. The 322 is a traditional Radiomir model, derivative from the 3646. The 399 is more of a..transitional...model with close resemblance to the 6154 (Egiziano Piccolo). The 399 ...

Only a few pieces are being made and it has that beautiul case and huge Rolex crown :) Yummy! The only thing that holds the PAM399 back is the high price tag of ~USD $28,000. Price is a lot so you won't have as much demand for it. Cheers, Anthony PAM399 p...

The 322 is worth a lot more than the 309....
the tobacco dial and half the quantity (only 50 itd of 100) turned the 322 into the "star of the show".. :-) It's worth a lot more than 26KUSD... Ciao - Sergio

Yeah but that is different though
First you're getting a platinum case for the PAM21 and secondly, you get a vintage Rolex movement. Just the fact that it's a platinum case makes it a much better deal. Cheers, Anthony
