if you read the online discussions regarding the 634, it is supplied with spring bars (at least the prototype) and snap on caseback (not screwed)...
these two features...along with the integrated new case (bezel with case) has made it controversial..
on the flip side...to expect new releases to be without controversy is not possible...

I didnt notice the closed numerals
The only other thing I would change would be the faux patina. That has run its course IMO.
This PAM634 is a decent piece and definitely priced well
when you compare it to other retail prices. Yeah the closed 9 and 6 numerals looks a little weird but I can get used to it. Now we have the blue OP logo so we should expect more Panerais with blue OP logos in the future if past pattern shows history corre...
Snap-on case back
is not the most impressive choice to celebrate an anniversary for a brand like Panerai. Worth the wait for the 16th joke. :)

634 is the only ugly one of all paneristi SEs. Faux patina totally mismatches with blue logo. "Two n a half liner" ?? The bottom sripts are too heavy and ruin symmetry of the dial. Price is the only mean to promote this …, if designers down. IMHO. Let’s b...
