In my whole collection the "big white" panerai is missing. Now I could go for a base, or a 563 or 188. Or...I was wondering about a Mare Nostrum, PAM07, 42mm. I have actually never seen or touched a Mare nostrum, but this white one has something.
What are the thoughts of the Paneristi ?

There's only one...white

worthy of a Panerai collection and that's the Pre-V 5218-207A (or the Italian one) signed by Sly Stallone who commissioned it. IMO of course ...

that I'm not a..monodimentional...chappie. Jokes aside, when I wore it on the wrist (the 518) I was pleasently surprised by how..terse..was the dial full of everything. Amazing. I would never buy it, of course, but what a handsome model
