The chaps that blew up real ships, in a real war, were wearing 3646s not super-mucho-macho-looking-I wanna destroy the world-type of contraptions, with more bells&whistles than a Breiteling. So, if you want a Panerai and want R U G G E D, none come more (really) rugged than a 3646 or 249 that where of the wrists them crazy Italian X-Mas' Frogmen....

Historically the 190 might the look but
that it makes up with the spirit of the 8 day movement. My mind keeps compare it to the 346. What's your opinion on 190 vs 346. Regards Tyler

Beside finding one is that will it be too dressy to be a Panerai. I know the watch can be dressy but I think there's a limit to what a 47mm watch can do to be that. I somehow wonder whether it is pushing it too far. How dressy should a military tool watch...
