This PAM380 has been on my wrist now courtesy of my AD. It isn't mine yet but it's getting awfully close. I've always been a skeptic of large watches, preferring to stay below 42mm for my 6.75 inch wrist, mainly for comfort reasons, but this is one beautifully legible watch and really, really comfortable. Needless to say, I've been introduced to the realities of larger watches - that it can be comfortable if made right. The logo makes it that much more compelling and I'm almost tempted to pull the trigger on this and add one Panerai to my collection. What do you think?

But I've looked through the other models and you may be right, at least it appears busy when compared to the chronos and GMTs. The Black Seal was really the first Panerai I ever saw in the flesh some years back when I got into this disease of watches so i...

I do actually quite like the logo though. Gives it a more antiquated and nostalgic character, me thinks, but we will see. I'm going to try on some others, though with regards to size, this 45 is pretty much as big as it gets before it starts looking ridic...

I have the PAM005 for the rest of the week but I'm leaning toward this 380. It seems to be tugging the heart strings a little more plus it feels more comfortable on my wrist. I'll share my final decision soon enough. Richard
