Panerai's repeated attempts to lure customers with faux spray-on tans is getting a bit tiresome.

The size is good, and the dial looks nice, but they should just use plain, polished steel and finally dedicate some of the marketing to the movement(s). I don't want to buy a Panerai that will end up looking more fake by wearing it because the scratches add unwanted glimmer.

No one mentioned this new California dial Radiomir from Panerai. What, no love?? I think it’s a nice dial. I just don’t know what to make of the case processing (?patina) from the pictures. It’s an esteel. But it’s also a nice size at 45mm. ...

I like the case..

But not sure about that dial color and if it goes well with blue hands. If it came with a black or tobacco dial.. Heck maybe just reissue the 249 or come up with something close to it 🙂

All good points. I didn’t notice the blue hands…

a bit of a mish mosh, unfortunately.

Opposite feeling here...

I can see why someone would want a bronze case because they like the patina it eventually develops but why would you want a steel case that looks old in such a fake manner? Not my cup of java... ...

Dial looks wee bit similar too

760 Radiomir bronzo which also has blue hands. The case is esteel with PVD and then brushed so there are no 2 alike.

Would have preferred gold hands

But anyway, how much do they want for this, I am still recovering from sticker shock about the bronzo radiomir! When you know that many micro brands get top notch bronze cases for a few hundred dollars, there's a lot to talk about beyond a certain price p...

Pricing I don’t understand

According to Monochrome’s article, the new PAM01347 and 1348 are same size, case, movement, and hands (as far as I can tell), RRP €9900. This 1349 appears to only have a different dial - RRP €12,500. So - and please tell me I’m mistaken - the only differe...

Yes,

There's a whole bunch of these 45-mm Radiomir with brushed cases. Even one with a faded brownish dial and gold hands. Yesterday I spotted this one in Girona Not bad at all. I think I can use it with my new "maiale" in the Bay of Gibraltar! ...

It doesn't float my boat...

when the "attractivness" of a watch hinges around the colour of the dial, my reaction it's always the same: whatever floats your boat and if it doesn't float mine, I just keep walking.

No Love indeed.

I really do like some of their submersible (Pam 1074) and Luminor (Pam 736) designs. However the brand is on borrowed times. This is just another over priced predictable derivative. Blue hands on green dial? Maybe gold or silver. Not to mention all the ba...

Seems like the interest for Panerai is really low…

I don’t care for green even though I welcome a smaller Cali dial like the one above purely on a wearability basis. That said the PAM 1350 looks very nice. Again no one seems excited. In the late noughties this place would be buzzing with noise by now. I b...
