Hello,

In fact it's the same process on every OP in-house caliber, the first notch serves to change the date (normaly) with hour-to-hour jump or ajusting time zone (like Patrick said) i.e. the first notch on the P9000 does it too.
There's a P2002 in the PAM 339, same caliber that PAM 268, PAM 233 etc..My guess is that Panerai did not remove (or forgot to remove) the first notch even the watch don't have the date fonction...

Just noticed something interesting on the 339

there are still two notches for time adjustment when you pull out the crown. Similar to the 200/201/233/289, the 1st notch would allow you to adjust hour hand while the second notch would let you advance both hands, And that seems to be the case on the 33...

The double notch function exists on all PAMs that houses the P.2002/7 movement, including the 341, which has the exact same movement in it. Congrats on your catch! Glad to see you join the family on this! Cheers and wear it in the best of health! Have a f...

And that is something that I think Panerai shoud have corrected with these models that do not have the date and GMT function.

As I can imagine the 'correction' would add a premium to the price tag. I'm happy with the piece/price as is!
