The best entrant of Montblanc's rattrapante chronographs. The burgundy dial, coin edge bezel and breguet hands will turn heads.
The size is a drawback, but not a dealbreaker. The larger diameter of the movement means a larger canvas to show off the sublime movement architecture and finishing. It will be interesting to reflect about your ownership experience after a couple of years.
It would be ideal if the MB M13 series movement could be augmented with a split seconds mechanism, but there would be concerns over the resulting proportions and the price point. The prohibitive cost of the Patek 5959 is a reminder that shrinking the classic split seconds chronograph is not a trivial challenge.

But the beauty dial of this watch can compensate for this shortcoming 😅

That dial really is such a lovely shade of burgundy and I am especially fond of the pusher in the crown and the coin edge bezel that make it even more special. When it arrives wear and enjoy it in good health. Marc
