LE100 burgundy split second chronograph
Dear All,
I have asked moderator to help delete my earlier post due to some technical issues.
Just a recap, after thinking to and fro for more than two weeks, I give in and now happily waiting for the delivery of this beauty.
I know it’s huge at 44mm for my 17cm wrist, and a bit uncommon for no lume hand when the indices are luminous…. but I just love it.
Thanks for the support from all my friends out there.
Will post wrist shot side by side with my beloved LE100 green chrono once it arrives 😊

It's a real beauty!
I have a 7.5 inch wrist and personally love large watches. They make a statement.
And this one looks good on you.
Seeing the watch on your wrist in the 2nd pic, vs just the watch only in the 1st pic,
really shows how good it looks when wore. Post more pics after it arrives.

But the beauty dial of this watch can compensate for this shortcoming 😅

Thank you, EinPA. Out of the three "regular" versions of Minerva split second (black bronze, blue titanium and this burgundy steel), this is indeed the most attractive one for me.

That dial really is such a lovely shade of burgundy and I am especially fond of the pusher in the crown and the coin edge bezel that make it even more special. When it arrives wear and enjoy it in good health.

That dial is beautifully balanced. The color really sets it apart, too. These Montblanc chronos are madness. Love!!!

The best entrant of Montblanc's rattrapante chronographs. The burgundy dial, coin edge bezel and breguet hands will turn heads.
The size is a drawback, but not a dealbreaker. The larger diameter of the movement means a larger canvas to show off the sublime movement architecture and finishing. It will be interesting to reflect about your ownership experience after a couple of years.
It would be ideal if the MB M13 series movement could be augmented with a split seconds mechanism, but there would be concerns over the resulting proportions and the price point. The prohibitive cost of the Patek 5959 is a reminder that shrinking the classic split seconds chronograph is not a trivial challenge.
