Hi Stewart. The Grand Chronograph Regulateur has a GMT function

 

so the second blue hand can be retracted underneath the other when the owner is at home.  Obviously when travelling the other hand can be used to track to time zones.  That is also why there is a 24 hour day/night indicator located at the 2 oclock position.  This hand is also blue so it is linked to this GMT hand.

See what it looks like with both GMT and Power reserve hands together? So the time is 10:24: 29 AM.



Yes, the for the Tourbillon mysterieuse the hands are printed on sapphires disks and the gears on the periphery move the disks so that the rotate relative to one another!
