Emotional time - First wristwatch for my girl with my Montblanc heritage spirit Orbis Terrarum
Hi all
Sorry I have been busy this week juggling the first week of work and school for my 3 kids. The youngest one started nursery on Mon and the eldest started Primary school, the start of a new phase for her after pre school kindergarten. Hence I didn't get the chance to continue my writing on the 1858 collection - I will resume soon 
It was an emotional moment for me when I got my girl her first proper wristwatch (not a toy one) on Mon. She chose a digital Casio as she is not trained to read analog time yet (I will make sure I train her!) and I gave in as I don't want her to be late for recess or lessons.

Kids... They grow up too fast! In a blink of an eye she is already 7 years old! One day I will pass my kids my watches

Kids going to school is a new shift in a lot of things, but it brings its share of fun too As for your girl not knowing how to read analog time yet, fear not - the Zeitwerk should fix some of that ;-) Beautiful photo, by the way.
And if the Zeitwerk wears large...
There is always the smaller FP Journe Vagabondage II, which displays time in the same way and is more compact

Good moment for you! My boy also had a quantum leap this year...
now he's talking watches, bought 10 this year! He got a Ferrari....watch (, from Abu Dhabi Ferrari World, can't afford the car but hope to inspire him ) and Apple Sport 42mm for the holidays. His box is now full and he's eyeing my box... Rgds Raymond Anal...
