I think it is great
to share a passion you have with your kids and especially if they are interested...
It will bond all of you over time whether or not down the line they would pursue the same passion or not...you will have great memories.
I remember that couple of years back when I had to read a bed time story to my kids (before they went to school), I grabbed the annual watch book of that particular year and we would go through it.
Since it consisted of less text and more pics, they loved it...at the end the youngest one at that time could distinguish sport watches from dress watches and would say which watch I had (he missed the brand/ model, but the type he was full on mark).

Good moment for you! My boy also had a quantum leap this year...
now he's talking watches, bought 10 this year! He got a Ferrari....watch (, from Abu Dhabi Ferrari World, can't afford the car but hope to inspire him ) and Apple Sport 42mm for the holidays. His box is now full and he's eyeing my box... Rgds Raymond Anal...
