Me too I’m slowly warming up to the new Polaris line. I was actually hunting for the tribute to Polaris 68 (full lume mistake dial) before this year SIHH. Now comes the 50th anniversary version. Hmmm.... which one to go for? The tribute is pretty true to ...

My question was actually about the dial, rather than the crystal. Do any of the new Polaris models feature the slightly domed hour marker dial ring, like the originals have? Or are the dials of all the new Polarises completely flat? (From photos, it appea... 

The hour marker ring appears to be slightly domed or curved, but perhaps it is an optical illusion. I’ve never seen a Polaris in the metal, so I don’t know. A.N. ...

I admit- the new Polaris line is now the defacto sports watch and is certainly a contender to Rolex and Omega in their respective fields. The Polaris Memovox is next on my list.

And you are correct, that bracelet looks great. Almost similar to the new Zenith bracelet Magnus reviewed for us.

You know, Nico, how I feel about the Compressor line, and how I feel JLC did it a great disservice by not marketing it more heavily. Anyway, I think this piece in blue with bracelet is my favorite, too. But it doesn't scream "Take me home!" to me, the way...

For me it has been nice to meet the Polaris again. And my initial love for the blue one hasn’t changed. I like the good size, the symmetry and the many nice, at times subtle details. Can’t wait for its delivery... Please see some comparisons with another ...  

When they were first announced I was in love. They looked so awesome and i instantly wanted the black dial. I then noticed that the bracelete uses push pins and that instantly makes me rethink everything about the watch. I started analyzing and realized t... 

And I love it. Daily beater it is, for sure, and the case is not as thick as I initially envisioned it to be, in fact, I think it has close to perfect proportions. The combination that's my favourite is the blue with the brown strap...the dial with three ...  

I have not seen the watch in metal but wondering from these pics if the the two blues (innermost and outermost) are too bright? Any comments? I like the non-date versions the most but I would have liked a little less brightness.
