Excellent overview
Thank you for this photo study and your insights. You go to great lengths to give us full information, and these posts live as useful references forever.I have to admit that I'm not in love with the new collection (lacking ambition and innovation), but the watches are well made and will help the company get back on its feet. Perhaps these will bring current Rolex/Breitling/Omega customers into JLC's orbit; a slightly higher price point that carries a prestigious marquee name.
Separately, I hold out hope for more audacious options and, perhaps, complications, to be released in other model lines later in 2018.

Comparing the blue dial geophysic Limited Edition and the blue dial Polaris Automatic, which one would bei your favorite?
The Blue Geophysic has the advantage of its superb movement, and its " seconde morte ". The Polaris Automatique is a cool watch.

The hour marker ring appears to be slightly domed or curved, but perhaps it is an optical illusion. I’ve never seen a Polaris in the metal, so I don’t know. A.N. ...

I admit- the new Polaris line is now the defacto sports watch and is certainly a contender to Rolex and Omega in their respective fields. The Polaris Memovox is next on my list.

The new strap is a presto system, the same than on the Patek 5070 for example. I am not confident at all with this system.

Is the innermost blue too bright?
I have not seen the watch in metal but wondering from these pics if the the two blues (innermost and outermost) are too bright? Any comments? I like the non-date versions the most but I would have liked a little less brightness.
