I share your ponit of view, and even JLC makes too many LE Watches, as for example the EWC different series, the DBS in titanium ( while it is ok in RG because any Amvox II existed before in RG ), and some few others...
As for the Polaris, it is a bit different, IMO.
In this case, the LE was justified, as some materials like the plexy were used, the case is not the same, etc...
But if a LE is justified when the watch is original, and didn't existed before, it is not the case for the other watches, and I totally agree with you on this point.
As for the Freak I, I think, but I may be wrong, that a Firts series, in 40mm existed in LE...The very first Freaks, in fact...
