Jaeger-LeCoultre

Nicolas,   from my memory,...

Nicolas,

from my memory, last year after i'd bought mine we,
as in the forum, tried to find out how many freak 1's were made and it has
proved very difficult. i would class an LE as a watch which is numbered 124/500
or similar. the freak is numbered as are all UN's ,but not an LE. it is a watch
made in limited numbers due to its complexity and time consuming nature. i
hope you understand why i differentiate. an LE boasts the fact that a max
number are made....ever, which i think helps them boost price. my main reason
for not buying a panerai.

i think with Bernards help we managed to come up
with the number of 240 in each colour for the Freak, but even that isnt
confirmed by UN.

whether the Polaris should have been an LE is a
mute point. its not unusual enough for me to be taken by it so my opinion is
pretty irrelevant.

best
