Who says boys don't know how to accessorize? LOL! Just teasing, Nicolas! My preference would be for the caramel calf on the '68 and the black croc on the '65. The brown/orange tones of the caramel leather add some additional warmth to the '68 by enhancing the indexes without being too matchy-matchy. The '65, while a reissue of a tool watch, is dressy in spirit, so I like the elegant look of black crocodile.

I was not totallly happy with the original straps coming with the Tribute to the Polaris, so I became to work ( I should say ..To play ) on the best possible straps for these Re Editions. The Re Edition of the Polaris 65 and 68 comes with the same strap, ...

I wouldn't wear the original strap during my watersoprts activities... Would change it for a Tropic strap, or a waterproof leather strap. Best, Nicolas

Another option
You could get one of the darker cognac or black/dark gray straps, but get the stitching to match the indices on the watch. that way you can create contrast and connection with the dial and the indices.
