The sky maybe starless. The night maybe moonless.
But deep in my heart there's a glow...
I have worn this watch perhaps the eighth time today after having acquired it three months ago. Being the work-from-home type, I wear very casual clothes and jeans and those are not proper enough for this timepiece. Today is different. I attended a wedding reception earlier in the evening and grabbed the camera as soon as I arrived back at home. It just so happens that the moonphase disc shows only the stars today with no moon visible at all.
Speaking of watch choices, if I must pick only one watch I own from each of the three brands I love, the outcome would not differ from this:
Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph for the more adventurous occasions. JLC Grande Reverso Calendar for those few dressed up occasions. And IWC Portuguese Automatic for the casual moments in between the two extremes.
I am no doubt a happy man. But soon I will have to learn how to spell "enough" as this obsession with watches is keeping me from investing in a couple of income-generating businesses. More money translates to more watches later, years from now, yes?
