The First Rounded Bezel...
It's excellent that we have posts to record small running changes to signature models like the Duometre. As with other prolific fast-changing model lines like the Extreme World Chrono and Amvox2, it eventually becomes necessary to aggregate all of the changes into some kind of master reference post for the series. I'll see if I can begin to compile one for the Duometre from the material we've posted since 2007...
Regarding the emergence of the rounded bezel, it certainly appeared on the white gold Grand Feu, but doesn't it appear to have featured even earlier in the series on the 2011 rose gold launch model of the 40.5 mm QL?
It may be a trick of the light on the smaller proportions, but that initial 40.5mm variant appears to feature the same domed rather than conical bezel. I like it, but it seems to be a lateral move for the design, neither better nor worse.

If you make a list of the versions of the same models....
I don't know what JLC have under their sleeve... Maybe it is time for them to unveil a new Duometre?
It looks attractive to me; thr round bezel & lacquered moon are assets.. The increasing trouble I have, is to keep versions/years defined & clear.. ;))

The moonphase is a pretext here, the main goal of this Duometre being accuracy.
It is utterly confusing, but the real pity is that there are no Duometres with WG cases with black dials in a 40.5 mm case!
