I agree with you that waving in the style and in the diameter is not a clear message from JLC.
I would rather prefer seeing them sticking to their model, or bringing some significative changes such as the QL enamel.

Duo a Chronograph rose gold 42mm: -Original version,then a different dial and texture,then a round bezel one,then one with apertures... Duo A QL rose gold 42mm: -Original version,then 40.5(ok this I accept even if i don t like it much in Rg,it makes sense...
I don't know what JLC have under their sleeve... Maybe it is time for them to unveil a new Duometre?

It looks attractive to me; thr round bezel & lacquered moon are assets.. The increasing trouble I have, is to keep versions/years defined & clear.. ;))

Always confuses us a bit but, no matter what version, the Duo is IMHO the most daring and beautiful watch that a non-billionaire can dream. Of course, I have my favorite, that is the chronograph. Moon phase seems to be way simple to this wonderful base mo...
The moonphase is a pretext here, the main goal of this Duometre being accuracy.

It is utterly confusing, but the real pity is that there are no Duometres with WG cases with black dials in a 40.5 mm case!
If they had a QL or chronographe with those specifications, I would have got one yesterday!

Very happily confused! The duometre is a mechanical marvel and a pretty one at that - be it the moonphase, chronograph or universal time complications. Hopefully there will be more 40.5 mm models as they wear pretty big Thanks Nico for the post and info C...
