During the Reverso auction in May 15th, 2011 in Geneva, there was also some nice stuff. - A Days Game Calendar clock, Ref 399, from the 60ies, which is 25 cm high and 33 cam large: - A " Golfer " Clock, housing an 8 Days movement, too, from the Fifties.Re...
Some time back I got one. The cost, a song, made me thing that it was a fake but my watchmaker believes that is real. Two pictures taken during the maintenance. I need to take more pics. It's working perfectly and the power reserve lasts 8 days: 1) The mo...
Congratulation, Nilo! :) Your first JLC clock? A very nice piece I still miss... Here is a scan of the 108 in the 1965 German catalogue. And again in a 1967 All Recital catalogue. JLC had a quite large series of Recital clocks during the 60's. .... Maybe ...
Blomman , Your JLC knowledge has no bounds. Consider that I got this clock only to use as a photo prop, now I have all info that I could dream about. For sure, my Recital will receive a honor position on my home office. Thank you very much. Nilo
Nilo, When it comes to JLC, there is an endless ocean of knowledge up for grabs! You just ned to put your time into do it... :) A honor position in your home office is where the 108 belongs! Best Blomman

Very nice Rue de la Paix, Juan! :) AFAIK, the Rue de la Paix came in three different versions, in three different brandings and in three different colours. Branding: Jaeger, Jaeger-LeCoultre and LeCoultre. Colour: Green, Gold and Black (like yours). Versi...

Hi Archy, Yes, the Big Ben and many others used the IV. But, what puzzles me here is that on (almost) all clocks from this time JLC uesd the IIII. Like this, 1952. Best Blomman ...
