Congratulation, Nilo!
Your first JLC clock?
A very nice piece I still miss...
Here is a scan of the 108 in the 1965 German catalogue.
And again in a 1967 All Recital catalogue.
JLC had a quite large series of Recital clocks during the 60's.
....
Maybe something for your watchmaker if he reads French?
1964 French EP catalogue.
User instruction from the same.
And to finish - what will happen if you don't use the clock!
To the left, if you don't... And to the right if you do!

But I am working on it...!

Nilo,
When it comes to JLC, there is an endless ocean of knowledge up for grabs!
You just ned to put your time into do it...
A honor position in your home office is where the 108 belongs!

Great clocks, Nicolas!
Yes, JLC did a lot of different clocks in many different shapes during the 50's and 60's.
Just look at this ad from the 1962...
Not only different shapes...
JLC did a lot of strange details on these clocks that puzzles me a lot...
Just look at this clock.
Pink face?! OK, yes in sun light it's pink.
Eyes on the hands... OK.
But look at the 4 o'clock marker... IV !?
Almost never seen on a watch/clock with Roman numbers (normal is IIII to match VIII(?)).
Must be a misstake or a redone dial you think..?
Have a look at this cataloge from 1952.
Interesting here is that from all the clocks in the catalogue (60 different clocks!) this is the only one with full Roman numbers.
...
Your post actually reminded me that I should start up my vintage ad collection series again...
Thank you for the reminder, my friend!

Very nice Rue de la Paix, Juan!
AFAIK, the Rue de la Paix came in three different versions, in three different brandings and in three different colours.
Branding: Jaeger, Jaeger-LeCoultre and LeCoultre.
Colour: Green, Gold and Black (like yours).
Version 1, Time only. (1960 Catalogue)
Version 2, 12 hour alarm. (1967 Catalogue)
Interesting with this scan is that it comes from a "all Recital" cataloge, but the version shown in the photo is a 12 hour alarm...
Version 3, 24 hour alarm, Recital. (1966 Catalogue)
To be honest, the Recital version came in two different versions.
One with the alarm display in the uppe half of the dial (like in the catalogue) and one with the alarm display in the lower part of the dial (like mine).
If anybody know more versions, please share!
I am eager to go deeper into this theme...

Hi Archy,
Yes, the Big Ben and many others used the IV.
But, what puzzles me here is that on (almost) all clocks from this time JLC uesd the IIII.
Like this, 1952.

Friends....
I would like to start collecting table clocks but, I have a "wife" problem... She do not like me to change the house decoration.... so..
It´s not for me..
Tks..
Some day I´ll fload my house with a lot of them...
Two month ago I bought that watch below, circa 1930, It´s huge, heavy and noise, it´s hanging in my living room.... It´s safe to wait for another purchase...
I´ll try to explain what´s for:
It was use to control the labor time in the factories and offices...
