The 1948 can be considered as more casual than other TT Reverso
I've got an another Reverso, the chronograph retrograde, and my feeling is that the 1948 as more casual, specially with a blue or a brown strap. I think it's due to the size of the case (very long) and the very light dial that makes it look bigger than real. The result is a nearly sporty Reverso.
But, it's still a rectangular watch and if I have no problem wearing it with a denim, I wouldn't wear it with a t-shirt and a short. It's not a Squadra on a rubber strap. ;-)

Very elegant watch

I think it's because of the high contrast between the dial and the hands. The lack of AR coating doesn't help either.
The true color of the hands and indexes is hard to catch, as well.
I had tough times to try to take some good pictures. Will post them in my dedicated review, one day. Best, Nicolas

yes in general, the white metal, white dial and blued hands/indices made the watch "cooler" but to me, a Reverso always feel warm maybe due to the case/dial design too. Even without the macro shots, when the sunlight touches the dial, the blued hands and ...

I would consider the TT R 1948, as it is more casual.
