I have not shared this watch for awhile. This lovely watch was the one I bought when Nicolas was inSingapore, in the JLC boutique.

And finally still my favorite look on this watch when the sun shines on it!

Very nice work on a watch that doesn't shout out. Great pictures, Robin. The macros really show what JLC is about.

You just made me realize that I have to post my review on this Watch. I didn't post it yet, because there were too many topics ( which is totally justified, by the way ) about this one.

So, I postponed... And forgot.

just using a simple macro lens now. Will want to learn more about watch photography - it's addictive!

It is indeed pure elegance and refinement, a superb mix of Reverso DNA and modernity. In one word, it is classy.

The texture of the dial.




On a blue alligator strap.

But your pictures are also always superb and really show the beauty of your marvels.

Unlike many others (including me often), you could never write that your pictures do not do justice to the beauty of your watch because you always manage to catch the beauty and flair of them. I also like the teck table background you often use, it reminds me the "tonton style" that we both know...

Thanks for sharing these pics of your 1948, I love it too. Wear it in good health.

Many thanks for your nice comments. I take a lot of pics with my iPhone and less than 10 % is worth sharing. The quality through quantity...

No, I'm not living with tonton, but yes, I love my old teck table. It always provides me a neutral and nice background, with no scratching risk.

It was my first holyday place delivery. It's a better feeling than receiving the watch at the office.

I think it's because of the high contrast between the dial and the hands. The lack of AR coating doesn't help either.

I had tough times to try to take some good pictures.

Will  post them in my dedicated review, one day.

I always had sharp and cool impression from 1948.

Now, your beautiful Macro shots are giving me some kind of warm feeling.

yes in general, the white metal, white dial and blued hands/indices made the watch "cooler" but to me, a Reverso always feel warm maybe due to the case/dial design too. Even without the macro shots, when the sunlight touches the dial, the blued hands and indices makes the watch seem "warm" to me.
