Congratulations on that beauty! I have a question, is the dial of the chocolate reverso also stamped? Meaning you can see the depth of the indices and the minute

tracks on the brown dial? I'm getting more curious with these two models of the TT1931 Reverso. So elegant and simple.

Oh, I wonder why they didn't make it a standard feature? I thinks it would be a real stunner if it were stamped. I saw this both in real at JLC boutique Hong Kong
and honestly am torn between the two. Need to see more wrist shots.

Would you classify this reverso as a formal watch or it can be worn with T-shirts and shorts too? What about if it is gold? Would the case material be too formal to wear casually?
Also thinking about the TTDSA American version as a possible contender. Most of my watches are sporty casual.

The 1948 can be considered as more casual than other TT Reverso

I've got an another Reverso, the chronograph retrograde, and my feeling is that the 1948 as more casual, specially with a blue or a brown strap. I think it's due to the size of the case (very long) and the very light dial that makes it look bigger than real. The result is a nearly sporty Reverso.

But, it's still a rectangular watch and if I have no problem wearing it with a denim, I wouldn't wear it with a t-shirt and a short. It's not a Squadra on a rubber strap. ;-)

I would consider the TT R 1948, as it is more casual.

Guess I answered my own question. Since the 1948 is more casual, I needed a more formal watch based on my collection too. My question should've been

"Can the chocolate be used as a casual watch too?" But with the dial color and Fagliano strap, I think it is very versatile. Plus it includes a brown alligator strap as well.=)

Now to start saving and the fun part of hunting begins. Is this boutique only or do AD's carry the chocolate as well?
