I think I'll leave the enitire history of the 818 movements in the galaxy for a history of most Galaxy models post I'm planning to do soon but in short most Galaxies have the K480 movements (lets say 99%) the K818 movements make up about 0.5% of Galaxy movements and a further 0.1% make up the 812 and other possible movements (ladies etc) these percentages are round about and might be + or - 3 to 5 percent. They make up estimations from what I've seen online and through some forums.

What is your movement number? I will try to see what year, approximatively, your watch was made. That is not everyday we see a Galaxy in such a condition and full set! Best, Nicolas

I think from the movement it could date to later 60s possible 69-70ish I have the info. on the old box and will check by tomorrow, would be great to get a date for her and thank you for the compliment was so happy to add her to the collection.
