N.O.S LeCoultre Galaxy/Mystery Dial
I'll have to make this initial post short as it is my birthday today and this beautiful Jaeger LeCoultre Galaxy came back from service today (yes on my birthday, what a present to have it back ) from my research this piece dates to the late 60s and has a special treat ticking inside a 818 movement.

I think I'll leave the enitire history of the 818 movements in the galaxy for a history of most Galaxy models post I'm planning to do soon but in short most Galaxies have the K480 movements (lets say 99%) the K818 movements make up about 0.5% of Galaxy mo...

What is your movement number? I will try to see what year, approximatively, your watch was made. That is not everyday we see a Galaxy in such a condition and full set! Best, Nicolas

I think from the movement it could date to later 60s possible 69-70ish I have the info. on the old box and will check by tomorrow, would be great to get a date for her and thank you for the compliment was so happy to add her to the collection.
