There is much to say about this last masterpiece from Jaeger-Lecoultre, and of cours,e we'll come back to it around March or April. Jaeger-Lecoultre unveiled a prototype of this Gyrotourbilllon III, so the final watch will receive some changes and improve...  

and further explanations, about this exeptional Time Piece. The "martele" finish on the mouvement is definitely very attractive, the bezel looks to be concave, or is it the picture and I find it very nice as is the case. Horologically/Engineeringly speaki... 

A strong watch cannot be too " mellow yellow ". There are some very interesting details, on the Gyro III, and the finish is,, IMO, one of them. Will come back to it later, with some interesting technical informations. Once they are provided to me... Best,... 

however I am a fan been ditracted of the beauty of this Time Piece by a dial's lay out which does not satisfy my taste. That's only my taste and my own opinion. Perhaps, probably, as you said in your introduction, once the production pieces are ready some... 

Hey Nicolas, Love the gyro 3! (You knew I would)... curious as to whether the aesthetics of dial and face side will change? I also think it is not completely refined for some strange reason... (I am a very hard man to please ;)) Am interested to know how ...

I really wish JLC did not have this on such a beautiful piece.... I do not understand why it is on there and if it is not too late JLC... pretty please remove it ;) . This gyro would look so much nicer without it and'I reckon would refine and balance the ...

... but the gyro tourbi of this one is different that the gyro1. I saw the clip, the "heart" of this one pumps on itself as its gyro swinging. While the gyro 1 just turns. Big difference here. We really get the feel of a heart beating

On the Gyro III, the spring is spherical: While it is cylindric, on the Gyro I. Best, Nicolas ...  

... they explained to us while presenting the Rg skeleton reverso gyro II, that the tourbillon was beating on itself as well, like a pumping heart. Something that wasn't in the gyro1. I recall it very well, even making a joke that it was a very interestin... 

And, on the MGT Tourbillon QP Jubilé, it is cylindric, to be complete. Best, Nicolas

visually, this one is much more striking. Technically, i don't know if its better, but it doesn't matter much anyway, when its that impressive.

on the semi half finish of the grained dial is odd, looks like handwerkskunst. and expect big second hand ala real chronometre instead of chronograph. just first impression. thanks for the post Nicolas, best, Ed

What strikes me most about this one is how exposed the tourbillon is -- I like that a lot. Like you, I am not sure about the need for the day/night indicator here, but that is not a terrible detail either. Thanks for sharing this beast with us. respo

When I first saw the Gyro 1 it was an instant Wow..!! This piece, despite being stunning, still doesn't give me a wow :( They hit it on the head so perfectly with the 1 I'd take that any day of the week :) Yours, Andy.

I'm ready for another JLC purchase, JLC does it again! Now, this isn't in my price range (ever), but what I would give for this one?! A kidney, and left and right pinkys come to mind.. I think 2012-2013 really has been the most productive in years for JLC... 

So, the wow effect was quite natural and unexpected. Since, we are sued to see some marvels from JLC. Less surprising, then. Or did we become more demanding? Best, Nicolas

Hi Amanico, Thank you for all the updates. What a line-up our friends from JLC have prepared for 2013. One question. Looking at the pictures of the Gyrotourbillon III it seems to me that the hand of the chronograph and the minute hand of the main dial wil... 

Over the minute hand of the main dial, otherwise JLC would have also informed me on that première! ;) No, Claus, don't worry, they won't collide. I will need to see it again to take better and closer pics of the hands. Best, Nicolas

From years to years, JLC did an amazing job on the cases. The new buckle is also something to be seen. And the " martelé " finish is another great detail. Now, Love is irrational, as you well know, and the Gyro I is still filling my heart in an uncomparab... 

My favorite is still the Gyrotourbillon I, To me, the day/night indicator distracts from the gyrotourbillon but I guess I'll have to see it in person to really view how it all works together with the chrono. Hopefully the SIHH 2013 JLC novelties makes it ...

Definitely a great case,I looove the martelee effect,a joy to look finish on this watch and obviously that beautiful spherical spring. A watch that leaves you in awe,but on a second thought,personally,I don t like the chrono for such an important watch,d... 

At least, the Chronograph is a legitim choice on such a watch,, and here you have something more, the jumping and digital minutrs, which required the use of a second barrel to feed it, and to avoid that this chrono doesn't pump too much of the energy. I d...
