As on the new you one, you hear the " bzzzzzzz " of the rotor while it is turning.
With the Cal 825, the bumper sounds matter, and you feel it moving when you move the wrist.
I wasn't speaking of the Alarm, but of the rotor.

From the dial detail, it may give your hints : empty small dot. For the hardware, I use a marco lens and Canon 30D.
The Platinum also have empty dots...

You are correct. the Boutique and Platnium version both have the dial with empty dot. I think it is difficult to identify from the photo except showing the back with the number or to feel it in flesh. No idea whether the material for straight index would ...
