a big mish mash of dozens and dozens of models going from the most affordable reverso to the Gyro.A big pot where the Maison seems to discriminate and make money from the most commercial numbers in its collection(Reversos, master control etc..) in order to pay more attention to the higher end of the spectrum(Gyros, repeaters, complications and so on.....)
I was always under this impression of this big JLC dichotomy till...well..till recently.Ever since i noticed a change of pace ,a big effort from La Grande Maison to push and push and put attention on every creation. That s why its difficult to beat JLC, that is what sets it apart.
This Chrono is a perfect example:retro, refined, elegant, intelligent(the different colour for different hands taken by the Duo) and most of all, like you said Nico, away from the easy temptation of falling into easy trends and fashions with a solid caseback(a big sign of maturity from JLC).There was a need to fill a gap in the Chrono production and it s been done in the most professional, smart way.The ability to cater to every sector of the audience in such a way is what distinguish JLC from all the rest.
Whoever thinks that to have a quality product you need to be a super dooper Independent,or to have a limited production, well think again as JLC is here to prove all of you wrong. Its more and more difficult not to fall in love with the brand..........Like I did,Yours,Mo
