Low prices on grey market is a problem for a brand to increase their own prices...

It's true that most of JLC are undervalued on second hand market if you compare with Rolex AP or PP...
For example... what would be the price of a Duometre if it was written PP on the dial... and what is the price for a black dial LE 200 piece JLC Duometre...
So it coud be a strategy for JLC to let dream buyers that they could earn loto while purchasing a new watch..
But there is a but...
1) The price of a modern watches which are not rare (If it's not a LE) is a question of fashion, Instagram délirium and so... not sure that a capsule collection of vintage icons will increase the price of modern JLC on the grey market even if this collection create a buzz ;
2) The price of vintage watches which are rarer than modern watches is up to me different.... It is necessary to learn a lot to buy vintages, to hunt a long time to find what you want... there is a lot of traps on the vintage market... So it's not only a question of money...
Anyway everybody do what he want to do...
Some people said Time is money... If you don't want to loose your time... or to take the time to dream during hunting nor to learn about watches... and if you don't care about money... you can buy those capsule watches...
For sure it's not for me... I prefer to save my money and to dream, learn and hunt.... and share my passion with friends...
The seller is making price... the buyer could pass...
